My name is Rosanna Giles and I have the pleasure of teaching business and marketing courses at Maryville High School. My passion for facilitating improvement of financial and business literacy skills stems from my belief that both are vital to future student success, regardless of their post-secondary endeavors. Additionally, I believe my role as a teacher is to create an environment conducive to learning by constructing real-world opportunities which maximize each student’s potential for learning. To facilitate student success within the classroom, I expect students to be responsible, respectful, and ready to learn each day.
I also serve as the Work Based Learning Coordinator for Maryville High School. The Work Based Learning Program at Maryville High School partners with local businesses to provide students with work experience where they can apply academic, technical, and employability skills. Local employers benefit from a recruitment pipeline that supports their workforce needs.
