Academic Success

Maryville High School’s Student Success Center’s mission is to help close the student achievement gap and accelerate learning for all students through a comprehensive set of services designed to connect students with the needed resources to achieve both academic and personal goals.  As such this course, Academic Success, is designed for identified students, who would benefit from additional direct instruction in study skills, organizational and time management strategies, as well as supplemental core subject area instruction in a smaller learning environment.

Howard Cobble

Greetings! I am the Academic Success teacher here at Maryville High School. I am very excited to try to motivate students to understand and grow themselves as learners, and as people. I firmly believe that ALL students are capable of learning if they possess a growth mindset – the mindset that nothing can stop them from learning if they are open to challenges and give GREAT EFFORT!!
