Are you College and Career Ready?

The College and Career Readiness (CCR) indicator is the state's measure of the graduates who leave high school ready to succeed in postsecondary education, the military, or a high-quality career. A student earns CCR status by graduating and meeting at least one of the milestones below.

  • Score a composite of 21 or higher on the ACT (or 1060+ on the SAT)
  • Earn a qualifying ASVAB AFQT score of 31 or higher (military readiness)
  • Earn a Tier III (Preferred) industry credential
  • Earn a Tier II (Valued) industry credential plus one additional industry credential (any tier)
  • Earn one or more postsecondary credits

Postsecondary credits include passing scores on AP, Cambridge International (CIE), CLEP, IB, or Statewide Dual Credit (SDC) exams, or eligible college credit earned through Dual Enrollment (DE) or Local Dual Credit (LDC). Industry credentials must appear on the state's Promoted Student Industry Credentials list.
